Geo 1405 Final Quiz

The final quiz is similar to the midterm and chapter quizzes, except it will involve more questions — a longer scantron answer sheet. Be certain that you bring a functional #2 pencil with you to the final quiz.

This is a closed-book, closed-notes quiz conducted in accord with the university's student honor code, in which the work you hand-in for credit must be entirely your own work. The final questions are © 2018 by Vincent S. Cronin and may not be copied, duplicated, shared, or retained in any way by anyone other than Dr. Cronin.

The questions you encounter in the midterm are very unlikely to be the same as in the chapter quizzes, although many will cover the same general information.

You will have the full class period to complete the final quiz. A typical final quiz in this course has 100 questions.

The information you will need to do well in this quiz has been made available to you through the lecture textbook, the online study modules and homework exercises, the text and activities in the AGI/NAGT Laboratory Manual in Physical Geology, and the web resources provided by Dr. Cronin here and through the web pages associated with the introductory material, plate tectonics, atoms and minerals, igneous rox, sedimentary rox, metamorphic rox, geologic time, structural geology, earthquakes, running water (streams), groundwater, glaciers, and climate change.

Try to arrange your study schedule so that you get a full 8 hours of sleep the night before the midterm quiz.
