Press the bottom of the ruler onto the foam tape. It is suggested that before this step, you should put adhesive tape on the bottom of the ruler to make it easier to separate the foam tape from the ruler when the model is disassembled. So the foam tape is attached to the smooth side of the adhesive tape, and the adhesive tape is attached to the bottom of the ruler.
